Interactive tools

Jan 26, 2025 - Anthropic announces that connected tools are now interactive inside Claude. Asana, Slack, Figma, etc can be used without switching tabs. The response in the comments are strongly focussed on the already existing issue of 🫙 Usage limits, with a concern that this development will make that worse.

Claude is also shifting towards visual responses to some types of query, returning maps and weather forecasts rather than plain text.

This video (Feb 13 2026) suggests that this is indicative of a shift in how AI products are evolving - away from text-based assistance towards interactive, app-like interfaces.
